7RPH Hobart is essentially a radio service for people with a print disability. It provides access to a wide variety of printed publications covering a wide range of topics every week.
Aiming to provide listeners equal access to printed information, RPH Hobart has 80 volunteer readers and presenters and has become an integral part of the daily lives of people with a print disability. This enables them to take a more active part in their community.
Broadcasting daily from studios on the periphery of Hobart city, RPH Hobart can be heard from 8.30 am to 11.00 pm with a relay of the BBC World Service at other times.
RPH Launceston 106.9 FM
A relay service from RPH Hobart, incorporating readings from the Launceston Examiner from 10 – 11 a.m. Monday to Friday. The Editorial and Letters to the Editor can be heard from 11.30 a.m. – noon, Monday to Friday and on Tuesday evenings at 6.00 p.m., feature articles from the Examiner.
